American Montessori Society Names Stanton Crenshaw for Positioning and Messaging Engagement

New York, April 17, 2007 - Stanton Crenshaw Communications, a leading mid-sized public relations firm, has been selected to handle a positioning and messaging project for the American Montessori Society, the largest professional association for Montessori education in the world. The assignment, which includes a brand perception audit, messaging development, and marketing and public relations planning, is designed to support the organization’s role as the leading voice for Montessori education.  The Society advocates quality Montessori education, strengthens members through its services, and champions Montessori principles to the greater community.

According to agency president Dorothy Crenshaw, the Montessori method is increasingly relevant to many education-related issues in the public dialogue.  She notes, “The AMS engagement extends Stanton Crenshaw’s experience in the education arena, where we have ongoing experience working on behalf of higher educational institutions, educational service companies and not-for-profit groups.”
